It's for RC carsWould light from a LED go through a single layer of Tamiya 'Smoke' Polycarbonate paint?
Yes it does. I assume your are using the ';Smoke'; paint as tint? My husband races, builds %26amp; paints RC cars, helicopters and planes. He has used the LED lights to lite the interior of some of his cars, while keeping the windows intac (not cutting them out and ';tinting'; them. He also used some holygraphic and color-change paint as flame or ';drip'; details on the sides and then back lit it with his LED light kits (He originally got the kit for head %26amp; backlights). Anyway, YES you will see the light, just keep the paint even across the area. Good Luck!!!!!Would light from a LED go through a single layer of Tamiya 'Smoke' Polycarbonate paint?
Assuming the LED is clear/white it should work, probably better off with a lighter color paint for a brighter effect though.
A single layer of paint is also relative, brushed on it may be to thick, so sprayed would be best.
