Which TCP/IP model layer supports both LAN and WAN technologies?

It is possible to use all the different protocols at the different layers of the TCP/IP model for both LAN and WAN.

The difference between LAN and WAN is that LAN is a local area network (geographically small) and WAN is a wide area network (geographically large).
