How many are just atiny bit curious to see what lays beneath those vast layers of ice ?

i mean with global warming slowly ,exposing the past ! i'm sure all geologists are exited as much as worried ! are you afraid of the outcome ,hey maybe the poles are rotating and some other area is freezing as fast as the present is melting !How many are just atiny bit curious to see what lays beneath those vast layers of ice ?
I am a bit curious not because I am wanting the ice to melt, and by the way I don't think it will anytime soon. Despite all the hoopla about it the Southernmost continent is in a cooling trend. but my curiosity is because I have heard there is a map of Antarctica that has quite a bit of detail on it and it was found in an archeaological site that is 1000' of years old.


evidently this map makes it pretty obvious that someone used to live there when it wasn't so terribly Cold and you could even farm the land.


Any one else heard any more about that? I would love to find some more info about it.How many are just atiny bit curious to see what lays beneath those vast layers of ice ?
its just natural. the earth is going to heat up for sometimes if we like it or not. maybe we will find something really cool.
