Do you have any videos to show me?How can i cut my hair into layers myself?
Reeally easy. Just use a comb to section off about an inch of hair all the way around the top of your head. (It should be parallel to your part.) Twist the whole section, holding it above your head and cut it to your desired length. Then twist it in the opposite direction and cut any uneven hairs. You can do that for all of your layers if you have multiple layers.
And remember, it's always easier to take more off later than wait for it to grow back. ;)

If you look at videos on youtube, DON'T use anything by expert village. Their videos never work. How can i cut my hair into layers myself?
Unless your hair is already very even, I was told by a very good hair stylist that one's hair should appear to be layered with just a good trim. I suggest horizontally parting your hair in sections starting at the nape of the neck, first. Then, while using two mirrors to see the back of your head, identify what needs to be trimmed to make that section of hair appear to be even with healthy looking ends. If your hair is long enough, vertically part that section of hair in half and pull the left half to your front left. Next, trim the ends while looking in the mirror. You have to do a little at a time and consider the fact that the hairs that are closer to the middle of your neck will appear to be shorter when pulled to the front. Keep that in mind, trim a little at a time, then pull the hair to the back and glance in the mirror. While viewing the back of your head, see if that section is even and if the ends are healthy looking. If it is so, do the same with your right side. Once the section appears to be even straight across when viewing the back of your head, pin that section up. Next, horizontally part another section of hair and continue to do the same steps with each section until you work your way up. If a trim doesn't give you the look you want, because as a result the top sections are just as long as the bottom, then, start over. This time, trim the top sections a little more until the layered look you want is achieved. Remember, a ';very'; little at a time is the key to perfection considering the situation. I don't have a video to show you, but I can tell you that it's going to be time consuming. However, it's worth it if you really don't want to go to a professional.
if you don't want super choppy layers then i wouldn't do it yourself,
if you cut your own there going to be more choppy than if someone else did it no matter what.
but if you look up ';cutting hair into layers'; on youtube you'll find a million different videos that'll give you a step by step guide, or if your not into videos you could try looking that up on google and you'll find step by step guides that you can read.
Don't do it! Hairdressers can't even cut their own hair, so you won't be able to it. You have to have a special angle to cut hair well, and you can't physically make your own arms get into the right position!
Go to a salon to get them done - any cheap one can cut layers, if you're worried about cost. A more expensive salon will do them better, but if you're not worried about a 'perfect' hair-cut then a cheap hair cut would be fine. Or, you could be brave and volunteer to be a 'guinea pig' for practicing hairdressers, which is free.
well i dont have any videos but i cut my hair myself and what yo u do is you flip your head over and you put your hair in a pony tail on the top of your head so that it is close to you forehead take scissors and cut straight across the ponytail take it down and you have layers ... wait i found links lol......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-2_ep2yQZM
You probably don't want to hear this, but I advise NOT doing it. I tried it once and if you don't do it right, it looks HORRIBLE. You end up paying someone to fix it.
If you must, youtube has TONS of videos on an variety of stuff. I'm sure you can search there.
You can do it yourself. Take all of your hair and hold it straight up above your head. When you have decided on the length it stright across above your head. This will give you shorter layers on the top and long layers on the bottom. It works really nice.
You can take sections of your hair and pull them up so that they are at an 45 degree angle. Then you cut it straight. You put them back and you have layers. You probably can't do layers in the back. But a friend could do it the same way I described.
Here's a cool article on doing at-home beauty treatments to save money - it might help you out

No you can't!
Hairdressers don't even cut their own hair.
No way you could get round the back or make it even.
Sorry.
why dont you go to hairdressers and have just a dry cut? its not exp and theyre reliable and qualified and kno what theyre doing!
you could go on Youtube.com and search ';cutting hair into layers'; and see what it gives you. They are really good with those videos.
if you dont know how to do it, you definitely shouldn't.
go to a professional.
