How to Layer Clothes

Step1Choose a camisole for your first layer. The camisole can be long or low-cut, lacy, sheer and any color or style fabric you like. If you don't have any camisoles, find a few that fit well, are comfortable and that you like.

Step2Layer the perfect tee on top of the camisole. If you like, you can even wear two camisoles of varying lengths, styles and colors. If you have a long red cami and a black lacy cami, you can lay one over the other so the lace or the color shows through. You can even switch them off so they can go either way.The tee, however, always goes over the cami. Usually, you want the tee to be a little lower or a little shorter than the cami so that the cami peaks out the top or the bottom. It should also be a little tight so it fits you well. Your black cami can go with a red tee, a forest green shirt with a brown cami or a white cami with a purple tee.

Step3Add more layers. If it's cool, you might want additional layers. Even in spring or early summer, it might be worthwhile to take along a light jacket or long-sleeved t-shirt. If this layer is thick, it should be your last layer. The point of layering is to have a slim profile. Keep in mind the colors of the first two layers and find something that matches those: yellow cami, red tee, white long-sleeved shirt and a black sweater. If your sweater opens in front, make sure at least one of your other layers is showing.

Step4Change it up. Want to try something a little different? Wear a cami over a tee. Wear a t-shirt with a pretty pattern over a solid-colored long-sleeved shirt. As long as the bottom layer is tighter and the top layer doesn't make it look bulky, you have a new, innovative look.

Step5Layer the bottoms, too. You'll notice that many people are wearing leggings or pants underneath their skirts. Though some think this is weird, if it's done right, it looks really nice. Solid-colored leggings can go with patterned skirts or skirts of a different color. Likewise, jeans can go with patterned skirts. Khakis can go with a solid-colored skirt. If you're wearing two layers on the bottom, limit the layers on top to one or two maximum as long as they are both tight-fitting. When you are wearing multiple layers on top, consider well-fitting pants on the bottom.

Step6Look in the mirror. Do you look bulky? Consider removing a layer or pairing things together differently if you look bulky. The key is to match, but to still be adventurous.

i hope this helped you♥How do you layer clothes?
Well there are multiple ways to layer depending on your style.

You could have it like most teens and layer a tank top with another tight v-neck or low neck t-shirt or you could have multiple layers of tank-top, sweater, jacket etc....

Heres what I see alot of highschoolers wearing:

nd when your layering it doesnt always have to match either like many people think it does.

Accessories always help to pull together your layers too. :)

Well, ur first shirt u were, as to be the longest. So it has to strch the most to ur lower body. Then the second shirt should be still long, only a bit shorter, and so on, until u r satified. However, don't overalyer, so no more than 3-4 clothes on u is good. Also make sure the clthes r diff colours so they stand out!!!
they have to match because if its out of the ordinary colors its going to look bad. so try putting like light pink with white, etc..

you can also buy pre layered shirts.

what kinds of shirts are you talking about?

edit: start off with a tank top and add a loose V-neck t-shirt for a classic layered look

ie. this: http://assets.tobi.com/files/product_col… with a lacy cami

Try these looks for the colder months:

its really simple.....you pick a cami or tank top in one color, than put a short or long sleeve shirt over top of it that matches the color of the cami/tank.....it really isn't hard.

if you mean wearing a cute cami over a plain t shirt, that is simple too....just reverse the other directions. :)
you can layer as much as possible, it is very pretty and popular at this time of year. =) If you layer, you can but don't make it chunky because then it can look bulky. Don't put too many things on at once. good luck layering!! and Merry Christmas
you could start by using thinner shirts or tanks as the bottom layer, and then just add more shirts, getting thicker as you go. also, try wearing tighter shirts as the base layer then wearing a little bigger shirts so you have room to layer.
Wear a cute cami (plain or patterned) underneath a different colored short or long sleeved shirt (v-neck or polo). Reverse for cami over t-shirt.

I can't explain how to do double and other ways some people do it.
always start by wearing a long t shirt or tank top. Then throw on something of shorter length like a shirt then top off with something of even shorter length like a sweater :)
you might wanna try and putting a tighter shirt on inside layer and layreing the biger size tee/blouse or whatever on top .
tank top, then sweater over or hoodie over the tank top.
what is layering shirts??
WOW!!!!
