watch how your hairdresser next does it, most do it by lifting chunks of hair right up, and then using the scissors that have a comb. (feathering scissors)





also look on YouTube, type something in like 'how to trim my layers' there are some fantastic videos.





i seriously don't recommend 'flipping your head and cutting straight across' how rediculous.
